GCC training rethink 'vital'

THE GCC must combat rising unemployment amongst its own people and a chronic shortage of skills, an international conference has been told.

The GCC education is not providing the skills and attitudes employers require, said Labour and Social Affairs Ministry manpower development director Ahmed Al Banna.

Bahraini Organisation to be feted at HR forum

An organisation based in Bahrain, which makes quality investments in training and human resources development, will be honoured during a global conference in the kingdom next year.

It will be selected by a special committee of the Bahrain Society for Training and Development (BSTD), its president Ahmed Al Banna said last night.
